On “You Sound Good To Me”: ”It sort of sets the foundation for where I see my career going. It’s fun, it’s catchy. I have it running through my head right now. That’s a good sign, I guess.”
On meeting her idol Martina McBride: ”First of all, we’re the same height — 5-foot-2 — which is very cool,” Hale says. “But I don’t think I said a word to her, because I didn’t know what to say.”
On her singing career: "I listened to country music and Disney princess songs — those were like the two main kinds of music I listened to. My mom says I've always been a spotlight-hogger. I've always wanted to be the center of attention, so I would push my sister out of the way."
